We just got off the phone with our adoption agency in a travel meeting conference call. They went over all the travel details and issued our in-China adoption itinerary. We will arrive in Beijing via NYC on Friday, December 19th. We will then be in Beijing until Monday morning. While in Beijing, we will be sightseeing and getting used to the time change: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Great Wall, etc. On Monday, Dec. 22nd, we will fly to the Jiangsu Province that morning and will meet our daughter, Abigail YiYa Hayes!!! (GOTCHA DAY) We will be in the city of Nanjing doing more paperwork and sightseeing until December 26th. On the 26th, we will then fly to Guangzhou to finalize more paperwork at the U.S. Consulate. We will be there several days and leave on New Years Day.
I don't know if you have ever seen the movie "Groundhog Day" starring Bill Murray, if not, in it every morning when the main character wakes up he repeats Groundhog Day over and over again. Well, New Years day will be like that for us this year. We leave Guangzhou at 8:15am to Beijing. Then we leave Beijing at 1:00pm and arrive in NYC at 1:30pm - ALL ON THE SAME DAY!!! Maybe the Lord wanted to make sure that we had more than enough time to rejoice with Him about how He has blessed us this past year and is going to bless this coming year!! Anyway, we will just praise Him for all things, even on the neverending day!!!

How good it is to intercede for each other, for the Father to hear one child cry out for the other...and so we do for you. Trusting Him to do His GOOD pleasure and will in ALL your lives. Praise Him!
